Public Policy

This paper is to critically discuss as whether public policy a legitimate impediment to enforcement of foreign arbitral awards or whether it delay the smooth operation of international commercial arbitration. For conducting this critical discussion firstly the concepts related are defined, then the issues related are critically discussed in relation to the obtainable research literature. Finally some empirical evidences relates case study findings are discussed with reference to evidences obtained from various countries. In the end, based on the discussion of the paper, own conclusions are made.
